Kyton IV Spaceport: Arrivals

Welcome to the Kyton System!! This system is unusually rich of inhabited planets/moons and it has something unique in the whole Star Wars Galaxy: Zanerium. Zanerium, a mineral, is in fact only found on Kyton I (also known as Zaner), and its propeties have been recently discovered. In fact, when mixed with durasteel, it reinforces its structure and is therefore very useful in the construction of ship hulls. Due to its limited supply, and to its high value, there has been a lot of struggle over Zaner. Two mining corporations are in fact already on the planet (Austron Mining Corporation and Westside Mining Corporation), while the Imperials, who recently occupied Valeen (Kyton IV), also seem very interested. But the "attractions" of the Kyton system do not end here. Orbitining around the gas giant known as Raxine (Kyton III), there are four inhabited moons. One, is hosts a well renowned and indepentdent fligth academy, another is a tropical paradise for tourists, the third is a fishing world, and finally, the fourth is an Ithorian colony. Around Xenit (Kyton III), there also is an inhabited moon, homeworld of a mysterious and independent alien race. Reports says that the Rebel Alliance is already interested in "liberating" the system from the evil of the Empire. There are then many factions that have strong interests in the system. In the end, who will control Zaner? Will the Alien race stay passive as it has done for centuries or will it open communications? Will the Rebels manage to overthrow the Empire's Governor?

IMPORTANT NEWS (22-6-99): This site, as most of you probably realized, is not being updated very often nowadays. This is mainly because my University studies are taking most of my time, and the game has come to temporary break. However, I do plan to expand it during the summer. I will mainly try to fix the broken links in the Gerem and Manan System's. For those interested, I will also add a page about myself and one in honor of J.R.R. Tolkien (I know this has nothing to do with SW, but I said "for those interested"). Anyway, enjoy what's here so far, sign my guestbook (which so far has been used only by my demential friends) and if you have any question email me!

IMPORTANT NEWS (14-12-98): I have finally managed to re-do the entire section of this page dedicated to Valeen, the capital of the Kyton System. Cool graphics (at least I think so...) and a lot of new stuff. To check it out click on the planet all the way to the right in the map above, or go through the planet section!

IMPORTANT NEWS: this page is soon going to go through a massive expansion. Our (yes, I've found an assistant, Colin Brand, who will help a little bit) project is to add more pages like this to create more systems and result into a Kyton Sector. Keep coming back, and the biggest Sector in the net will be in your hands... (hopefully)
